BRIEF

Design and build a bathing hut, decking area for alfesco parties and a bathing pier next to a loch in south west scotland.

SOLUTION

A green oak frame with larch cladding, riven western red cedar shakes with oak windows and doors. There is oak flooring inside the bathing hut and western red cedar decking out the front. All fixings were marine grade stainless steel due to the wet environment. This prevents them from degrading over time, giving the building a life expectancy of at least 60 years.
